A workshop for womxn, non-binary, and trans film industry professionals of all levels to build and share resources to freelance successfully in the film industry. (More below.)
You, your time, and your experiences are worth so much. Together, through discussions and exercises, we will align ourselves with our personal and financial values, build our own pay rates and services packages, and discuss and share experiences and curiosities that we have as independent filmmakers. Because of womxn and marginalized demographics, both the film industry and the city of Los Angeles have changed so much especially in the last few years, so it’s important that we know how to self-advocate and honor ourselves to continue progress and change in and around us.
Safe spaces, mentally and physically, are important to our workshops and mission, which is why we chose to host this next event and take on an artist residency at SIBLING studio in Northeast Los Angeles. This workshop is for womxn, non-binary and trans filmmakers in all phases of their career. Whether you recently graduated or want to brush up and reconnect with others like yourself, this workshop is for you.
We feel feelings and get shit done.
